This page explains the device permissions the ALGOZ OPS app requests and why, and summarises the data disclosures that correspond to the Apple App Store privacy details and the Google Play Data safety section.
| Permission | Why | When |
|---|---|---|
| Location (foreground and background) | Show the operative on the live map, compute distance and bearing to key points, raise geofence and rally alerts, and support SOS and welfare checks. | Only while on duty with location sharing on. Background access lets command keep safety oversight when the phone is locked or the app is in the background. |
| Camera and photos | Attach photographs to map pins and after action debriefs, and upload operation documents. | Only when you add a photo or file. |
| Notifications | Deliver operational alerts and check in prompts. | When you enable notifications. |
| Storage / files | Select and upload images and documents. | When you attach a file. |
You can change permissions at any time in your device settings. Turning off location stops location sharing and the features that depend on it.
